The skilled craftsmen at Restoration Lighting Gallery first verify the mechanical integrity of vintage pieces through a thorough evaluation and testing process to assure that each fixture is working in all aspects. All pieces are re-wired, repaired and refurbished for safe installation and usage. While we take great care to preserve original finishes and original detailing, our craftsmen work with many mediums to replicate finishes unique to vintage lighting fixtures. Our experienced craftsmen have over 75 years combined experience of impeccable quality and great reputation.
All of the lighting products we sell online (new and vintage) are guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of delivery against defects in performance only.If a product you purchased from Restoration Lighting Gallery’s online store fails to perform within this time frame and you wish to have us repair the problem you (the customer) must assume responsibility for the removal of the fixture from your home or location, shipping to Restoration Lighting Gallery, and any reinstallation costs when it arrives back to you. Restoration Lighting Gallery will pay to send the fixture back to you if the fixture was found to be defective.If we receive your fixture and after evaluation find no defect in performance we will acknowledge our findings. If the fixture is not defective by our findings we will gladly return it to you will all shipping and handling being paid by you (the customer).

We will discuss the nature of the problem with you and determine the best course of action. If you choose to have us evaluate your fixture we will contact you within five (5) working week days of receiving the product with an evaluation of your claim and intended remedies.

If you would like to return or exchange your item(s) to Restoration Lighting Gallery, you must contact us within 7 working days from date of delivery. Please call us at 860-493-2532 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and obtain approval before shipping the item to us. If your item is approved for return or exchange we will issue you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.

In regard to vintage items, please note that because vintage items are almost always one-of-a-kind, it is impossible to exchange one for the same item. If you wish to exchange your vintage item for a similar item, please call us. Also, please see our list of exclusions for returns below.
Returns & Exchanges must be in original condition and packaging from when it was shipped with the sales invoice included. Returns must be shipped prepaid by you for us to accept it. Please handle and package the items very carefully. Products that have been installed are no longer in original condition and therefore can not be returned. Upon receipt, Restoration Lighting Gallery will determine if the product is in its original packaging and has not been installed. There will be no refund or exchange until a thorough inspection is complete. There is a 35% restocking fee for non-defective returns. In addition, your return must be insured by you. If there is an error on our part which warrants your return & exchange, we will pay all shipping costs. Otherwise, we do not refund shipping and handling charges.

When placing your order, you will be presented with the price of the products in addition to shipping and handling fees and sales tax (where applicable). Your card will be authorized at the point of purchase. However, your card will not be charged until your order has shipped. No deposit necessary.
Due to the possibility of error, our site may occasionally list an incorrect price. While we review to ensure all pricing is accurate, Restoration Lighting Gallery can not honor incorrect prices. In the event there is incorrect pricing we will inform the customer before the order is placed. The customer will be given the opportunity to place the order with the correct pricing or cancel the order.
Shipping Carriers: Restoration Lighting Gallery will choose to ship your product through FedEx or LTL (less than truckload) freight depending on the size, weight or fragility of your item.
For example, a standard wall sconce will most likely be carefully packed and shipped through FedEx. Whereas a four foot tall vintage Bohemian crystal chandelier with cut glass bowls and crystal draping would probably have a custom crate built for it and packed with special packing material and be shipped by truck in the most economical safe way.
Shipping & Handling Fees: Shipping and handling fees for each order are based on the item(s), shipping material and the delivery destination.
Shipping Time Frame: Shipping time frame begins when we ship the item, not when purchased. If the item is a vintage item, it will be carefully packaged and could require special preparation (ex. custom built crate) and may take some time to prepare.
Shipping time frame can be anywhere from 5-20 business days based on the product. We then select the most cost effective delivery method relative to the proper packaging of new and/or vintage items.
If you have an order with more then one item, your order will be shipped when all of the items are available for shipping.
Priority Shipping: For a fee of $25 or 25% of your order, whichever is greater, we will ship your order within 4 business days. Priority shipping is not offered as an option on the e-store. Shipping Damage: Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. If you incurred shipping damage please contact both the carrier and Restoration Lighting Gallery at 860-493-2532 within 24 hours. Keep all your packing materials. We will make every effort to resolve the situation to your satisfaction.
